Ministry of Mines has granted Prospecting Lease for Iron Ore over total area of 462.76 Hectares in the district of Dantewada of Chhattisgarh. As per the geological reports of GSI the assumed deposit over 462.76 Hectares is about 76 Million Tons, however it is anticipated and predicted that the deposit consists the quantity approximately 150 Million Tons. Basing on the various adjacent leasehold of NMDC resulting to the double the quantity excavation than that of the surveyed quantities of deposits. The mines are located in the series of NMDC, TATA, ESSAR, JINDAL and MONNET respectively.
